Dead pig and live music for a good cause? We’re in, and you can be, too.
Regular feed me kc readers know we don’t need an excuse to eat pork (Exhibit A, Exhibit B, Exhibit C). But when it’s for a good cause, we’ll stuff ourselves silly. That’s why Jeff , Kyle, and I are already picking out matching sweatpants for Some Pig I Used to Know, a barbecue benefit for Safe Place for Kids. The party is happening Friday, October 4 at the American Royal, and there will be lots of delicious pork, entertainment from Lonesome Jake and DJ Fat Sal, beer, wine, liquor, and a feel-good vibe.
We’re giving away a pair of GA tickets to Some Pig I Used to Know. To enter to win, leave a comment on this post (down below, on this page), telling us your best pork-related story. We’ll announce the winner Monday, September 30 on our Facebook page.
Keep up with the Some Pig I Used to Know blog for updates on decor, drinks, entertainment, and the team’s “practice meat.”
