Fried-Food Porn: Free State’s Onion Rings

Every once in a while, I manage to snap a decent picture of food. This usually happens when I’m near a window on a sunny day, and I have something upon which to rest my phone (yes, I have come very close to dropping my iPhone in my water glass many times). This pretty little picture of giant onion rings was taken at the Free State brewpub in Lawrence, KS on Saturday, May 26. To the left, is the restaurant’s house-made mustard, which makes a cameo in episode 8 of the feed me kc podcast.
