If you like mustard and/or Phil Collins (ironically or for realsy), you will love the first ENHANCED edition (now with photos!) of the feed me kc podcast. If not, we have seven other non-Phil Collins-centric episodes for you to enjoy.
Against all odds, producer Stu joins us in the stu-stu-studio for another day in podcasting paradise. Emily makes another death-defying cocktail:
We introduce the official feed me kc Phil Collins drinking game: Take a drink each time we reference Phil Collins or one of his songs. First person to get his/her face to look like this wins!
Listen to the end of the episode for a very special treat (hint: the “real” Phil Collins may or may NOT have recorded a special feed me kc message).
And in case you were wondering about the state of Emily’s mustard-stained outfit:

As always, special thanks to Producer Stu Akin and The Grisly Hand.

Love finding other KC foodies – great blog and podcasts! And now I fully understand all the Phil Collins references in the last podcast. Regarding mustard – you should include Raye’s from Eastport, Maine, in your next tasting. They have the only operational stone-ground mustard mill remaining in North America. We took a trek up there last summer to tour the mill and bought a boat-load of mustard. (Might be willing to share.) Of course, the mustard was not the only draw for us – lobster may have also played a role. http://www.rayesmustard.com/
Clearly I’m a new listener and just discovered that the “foodie” word is taboo. Good to find others in KC who “fetishize” about food – or whatever.
Cathy, you can call us whatever you like as long as you call us something. Thanks for listening and reading!
