No, no, you’re right; I’m not really eating bread these days. But since today is my 30th birthday, and if I’m being completely honest with myself, goat cheese and bread, when put together, form what might be my most favorite combination on Earth (other than pulled pork on a sesame bun with slaw, which I’m no longer calling “Carolina style” thanks to those b-holes in NC), and because my wonderful co-worker Jennie had put a goat freaking cheese croissant from Natasha’s Mulberry & Mott on my desk before I arrived this morning, I put it in my mouth and I moaned over every. single. bite.
So far, 30 is pretty great.
