Good news! We haven’t been kicked off iTunes. Yet. And until that happens, we’ll keep recording ourselves talking about all the Kansas City food and drink we’ve been putting in in our mouths. We’ll also keep inviting interesting guests to join the culinary conversation.
For Episode 2 of the feed me kc podcast, The Pitch’s Charles Ferruzza joined us in our Leawood “studio” to offer a glimpse into the life of a restaurant critic, including what it’s like to hang out with Anthony Bourdain and what he despises most about people who call themselves “foodies.” We cover the sugary demise of society (don’t try to blame it on high-fructose corn syrup) and the new feed me kc call-in line. (But you must listen to get the number. Mwahahahaha!).
In a not-very-shocking turn of events, Jeff puts octopus in his mouth, and Emily continues to lust over SPIN! Pizza’s #19 and a new drink called the No. 4. We had so much to say about food, drinks, “foodies,” and even fetishes, that we had to spread our sweet, smooth interview with Charles into two episodes. For now, though, we bring you Episode 2 of the feed me kc podcast.
As our ol’ pal Montell Jordan taught us: This is how we do it.

Special thanks to Producer Stu and The Grisly Hand.
P.S. If you like it, pretty please go review us on iTunes. With foie gras on top? If you don’t, perhaps we can interest you in one of our special candied apples? You know you want it.

Charles needs a haircut. It’s a scandal. Who does he think he is, one of The Beatles?
I don’t know… I like the shaggy look on a man. It’s a fetish of mine.
