We don’t know what’s more exciting: that our very first feed me kc podcast is finally up on iTunes or that iTunes categorized it as “explicit.” Either way, we hope you’ll listen. If you don’t, you’ll miss us interviewing chef Patrick Ryan about his now-famous Port Fonda food truck, his soon-to-open Westport restaurant (with a projected date), his take on “Mexican” food, and how he views his role in the emerging Kansas City food scene. You’ll also miss me — with a full-on case of laryngitis — interviewing Food Network star Aaron Sanchez about his new Leawood restaurant, Mestizo. The feed me kc Drinking Game

Because we have a good sense of humor about our first attempt at podcasting (read: we want to make fun of ourselves before you get a chance to), we invite you to play the official feed me kc Drinking Game. To participate, simply take a shot of something — perhaps a Manhattan, with VERMOUTH and BITTERS — every time*:

• Emily says, “I’m so excited,” or some variation of it.
• Emily says, “We were lucky,” “I was lucky,” or some variation of it.
• Emily or Jeff says “Yes” in response to the other, and then adds nothing further.
